Jamie & Mike's "I Will" Session.....

Okay, so this post is going to be a bit longer then normal. Jamie and Mike have been friends of mine for many many years now. However, they always fell into separate categories.  Mike was a friend I hung out with all through high school. Jamie was a friend in high school, but we became very close afterwards. Somehow, these two kids ran into each other one night out, and the rest is history. So you can imagine my excitement when I not only heard that two great friends of mine were dating, but then again  when they had a baby! The beautiful Brielle. But I was even more excited when they announced they were getting married and asked me to document their story!

So after many thoughts of where the perfect place would be to shoot this couple, we decided on the classic Santa Monica Pier. After I finished editing, I sat back and thought about how perfect it really was.  On the way home, Mike told me the story of how he was supposed to propose to Jamie. It was perfect. Romantic, thoughtful, simply amazing. However, it rained cats and dogs that day and he had to switch plans! He ended up proposing to her in a golf cart! I love it! This couple has definitely had a whirlwind romance.. I hope the few pics below show some of that! Thanks Jamie and Mike for letting me be apart of your day! Can't wait until the wedding!

Fires? What Fires??

This family was so sweet! I took them to a park and as soon as we started our session, we basically lost all light! The sun went down behind a hill! On top of that these fires are not exactly the greatest for breathing!  So I will be doing a "round 2" with them this Friday to get them some more pics! Such cute kids! Hope you all stay safe with the fires everywhere! More to come soon!

Day at the park with the Alvarado's!

This family is just too cute!! We went to an awesome park that was pretty much ours for the morning! Sienna and Conner were so adorable and while Conner was maybe the happiest baby I have ever seen, Sienna gave me all kinds of emotions! So great for a photographer! We had happy, sassy, funny, playful, sad, and sleepy! All within 2 hours. I loved it! Jaime and Manny, not only are you guys beautiful, but you have created some gorgeous kids! Thanks for letting me document our day at the park! Can't wait till next time!

All You Need Is Love...... bum ba ba ba ba bum..

So Profesh! That was the saying of the day! ha! I had SUCH a blast with Michelle and Ed today! We had the city to ourselves this morning. It was as if some cosmic force said... well Nicole, today the city is yours for the taking! Have at it! And I did by all means! We woke up extra early and knew that downtown Los Angeles is best when the city is still sleeping. However, nothing prepared me for the ghost town we encountered. It was fabulous! First stop was Los Angeles, second Hollywood. Ed and Michelle were such rock stars. Not only were they up to whatever I suggested.. they were ecstatic to be creative themselves and let me tell you they were! Climbing walls, sitting on ledges, running through the streets, and sitting in cafe chairs even when the waiters and security guards were giving us the evil eye. But it was so worth it! Thank you so much Ed and Michelle! I can't wait until our next crazy adventure! Here are just a few for now... I will update with more soon.
